His study of the origins of French Impressionism, The Judgement of Paris, was published in 2006. Among his books are Brunelleschi’s Dome (2000), Michelangelo and the Pope’s Ceiling (2002), and Leonardo and The Last Supper (2012). In the first novel we were introduced to Ruby the outcast a Fireblood in a kingdom ruled by ice. The character development is great, but the characters still stay true to themselves from the original story. I though Frost Blood was a great debut she carries the momentum on in this novel. I can't believe this is Elly Blake's second novel.
